FEAR: PUSH or PULL

Fear is nothing else other than just another emotion of human nature, like happiness, sadness or pain. Sometimes it is something which is already present in one, it might be the result of your genetics and sometimes there is a fear which you create yourself. Fear is flexible and there is a blur line in between whether fear can be a boost up or act like an anchor in your life.

It may sound crazy but fear can be your friend too in your life apart from the custom based perception of fear being an anchor of your life. Fear can sometimes bring the best out of you, something you have not even imagined about yourself. Fear can be converted to one of your another emotion of being excited, something that turns a blazing fire inside you to achieve what you have been fearing from. This part is called the push of fear, where the fear of being less in anything pushes you to produce more effort, I would not call this scenario where you get motivated rather it is the blazing effort for survival, you know that you just don't want to be on the lower side of your perception. Thus fear does not let you cross the bottom line, where you know the survival ends. An example for your mind to picture is a man going for bungee jumping for first time and he is afraid of heights as well, but his fear here can be a push too, a fear of loosing the chance to have this wonderful experience and as the minutes move on he builds up the decision to have this experience added to his list.

Fear on the other hand can be a pull, where you let it overcome yourself and it makes a mess of the situation but it is you who controls the emotions. Fear can be overcome and you can nullify the pull effect of it by the basic principle of human nature i.e. practicing where you can go through your uncomfortable zone and come out of it with a new trait in you.
